๐ Market Moves
The collectibles market is experiencing significant growth, with projections estimating its value to reach $776 billion by 2032, up from $622 billion in 2024. This surge is driven by increased interest in alternative investments, nostalgia, and the influence of pop culture.โ

๐ From the Collection
A rare T206 Honus Wagner baseball card, often referred to as the "Holy Grail" of sports collectibles, has been sold for $1.98 million in a recent auction. This particular card, graded as "Altered/Restored" by PSA, was part of the iconic T206 series produced between 1909 and 1911 by the American Tobacco Company. The card's scarcity is attributed to Wagner's objection to its production, possibly due to his desire not to promote tobacco products or a dispute over compensation, resulting in a limited number of copies โ only about 50 to 60 are known to exist today.
Despite its condition, the card's historical significance and rarity continue to drive its value, underscoring the enduring appeal of vintage sports memorabilia as a unique alternative investment.
๐ Net Worth Watch

The Kentucky Derby isnโt just about mint juleps and fancy hats โ itโs a magnet for some of the wealthiest individuals in America. From celebrities to Fortune 500 CEOs, Derby weekend at Churchill Downs draws a seriously affluent crowd. And the stats from last year prove it:
Average Ticket Cost: $1,200
Average Attendee Net Worth: $1.5M
Total Amount Wagered: $210M
With that much money in the stands (and on the line), the Derby isnโt just a race โ itโs one of the biggest wealth events of the year. And for those looking to get closer to the action without the hefty price tag, platforms like MyRacehorse offer a unique alternative investment opportunity.
Notably, MyRacehorse facilitated the ownership experience for over 5,000 investors in the 2020 Kentucky Derby winner, Authentic, and more recently, Seize the Grey, a Preakness Stakes winner with a stallion deal potentially worth up to $13.5 million.
